The Hedgehog Technical Institute (HTI) is a community for indie and amateur game developers, programmers, and creatives who love making games! Founded in 2021, we've grown into a space where people can share progress, explore ideas, and learn. whether you're making your first game, building a custom engine, or experimenting with strange mechanics we are the place to be!
HTI is a focused, creative space for people who care about making games. We value the craft of game development and are all about curiosity and honest collaboration. It’s a place to share progress, learn from others, and keep moving forward as game developers together.
Our two main events run annually throughout November: arcINDIE, a showcase for original indie or amateur games, and the Chao Games Showcase, which celebrates fan games and community passion projects. Both events highlight the creativity and dedication of our developers, whether they're building from scratch or remixing the worlds they love. We also occasionally run game jam, community social events and show and tells!
