SUPER FREAKS PRESENTS: STRATO FREAKS 2
DEMO 3.1 / EARLY ALPHA (SEPTEMBER 7th, 2024)

Surprise!! Unlike Strato 1, this WON'T take me 14 years to finish.
This is an early demo that me and the team are looking for feedback on, but I consider this very polished still and ready for demonstration purposes.
Collect the magic monkeys to go to the next section of the level. Beat the boss at the end to beat the level. Try to rack up combos by killing enemies and collecting yorbs. Oh, and do all of this before time runs out!

Oh and one more thing; this IS two player co-op, drop-in and drop-out!

DEFAULT CONTROLS (KEYBOARD + MOUSE):
Move - Arrow Keys, WASD
Shoot - Z, Left Click
Strafe - X, Right Click
Strafe Left - No Default Binding
Strafe Right - No Default Binding

--Classic Scruffy playable
--Difficulty and scoring rebalanced; as the new Hot Clock timer ticks down, the level will gradually become more difficult. To offset this it is now easier to maintain a combo
--Tons of little bug fixes (backwards sword glitch you were too pure for this world)
--That one off colored line in the Super Freaks Stadium background fixed

Demo 1.2/Early Alpha - July 2nd, 2024
--Five strafing modes added, all of which are back from Strato 1; these can be accessed from the remapping controls menu in the options
--Few bug fixes

Demo 1.3/Early Alpha - July 4th, 2024
--Sticky Survival: instead of dying when the Hot Clock runs down to 0, Sticky will appear and begin relentlessly hunting you down until he finally kills you (or you enter a boss room). You can stun him for a second by shooting him enough times, which will help you make a quick getaway. Now you can keep milking a level for points as long as you can survive! This is also considered a sudden death mode, so your next death will be your final.

--Even more bugfixes; sprite rendering script and object spawning table have been rewritten so they should also run faster and more efficient

Demo 2/Early Alpha - July 17th, 2024

--Hot Clock rework: instead of gradually getting harder based on timer percentage, each level has four difficulties, and the Hot Clock will gradually grank that difficulty setting up every 50 seconds.
--More bug fixes (I think that should be it for a while thank God)

Demo 3/Early Alpha - September 5th, 2024

------Fancy new character select screen! It's a WIP still but so far so good.
------Level timers are now level dependant and all are lower than the 200 seconds from before. When entering a new level section, you will have 30 seconds minimum on your timer to give you a break from Sticky (unless it's a boss). Speaking of Sticky, check that new chase theme!!!
------Dino's fight is easier (can you believe I had to nerf HIM?)

Demo 3.1/Early Alpha - September 7th, 2024
--Adjustments:
------Enemies are nerfed all around
------Sticky, on the other hand, is more aggressive and has a charge attack which he will do much more often as you try to shoot him
------Krankenspine's fight should be much easier now
------You can now reconnect your gamepads/controllers from the options menu
