MIKI's Unfortunately Eventful Day is a 16-Bit styled 2D platformer inspired by early free-ware Windows game, a love for computers, and heavily derivative of VIC-TOKAI's Time Dominator 1st, or SOCKET in the west.
Like a pseudo-spiritual successor, but its not made by any of the original creators.
This is MIKI. Say hi!
You play as him within two different play styles:
Score Attack (The main gameplay mode during the campaign): Collect the most amount of energy without losing the chain! However, breaking it gives you a score penalty...
Time Attack: Race to the end of the stage as fast as possible! Beat your times!
This is a VERY very small vertical slice (we're talking at tops, 5 minutes of playtime small here) of what I plan on for this game. I've had this sitting around for a while, and I felt the need to polish and release this demo for people to play before I continue with a much grander version.
For what its worth, I hope you enjoy what you play! Look forward to possibly seeing where this ends up in the future...
