[MAJOR STORY REWRITE]

It takes place after the events of Sonic Superstars,

Dr. Eggman found an all-new power source called the "Grimstone", which steals energy from any life forms, leaving them depowered and drained.

He created an upgraded version of Metal Sonic, Glitch, to harness the power to achieve the goal of Conquering Seaside Island and the entire World!

Now it's up to Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, and Trip to stop Dr. Eggman and his crew from committing his dastardly deeds!

it is something I'm making in within the Sonic 2 Art Style and using Sonic 2 as a base before going in a complete different engine

as in the retro Engine (RSDK) remake as a base and use some code for the drop dash from Sonic Origins

awesome stuff then! Looking forward to seeing more
